Project Description & Outcomes

Description of Research Project. *

This should include a detailed explanation of the research undertaken, of its rationale, of its scientific objectives, of the methodology used. Applicants should stress the originality of this research project within their field, and incorporate relevant bibliographical references. Applicants should clearly demonstrate how their scientific efforts fall into the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Description of activities: Work plan and Timetable. *

This part should describe the nature of the collaboration proposed, the type of joint research activities that will be implemented, the number and duration of researchers’ mobilities foreseen per year (professors, post-docs and PhD), and a detailed calendar.

Anticipated outcomes at the end of the 2-year project. *

Eg: conferences, publications, number of exchanges, joint degrees established, patents, co-supervision of PhD students, etc.

Expected long-term impact (in scientific and institutional terms) and initiatives that will be taken during during the 2-year project to ensure long-term collaboration. *

Eg: other funding programs targeted, future projects, etc.) Connections and synergies with other laboratories and researchers are encouraged.

Research Teams

Explain how your academic and professional backgrounds are complimentary and how they bring added value to the project. *

Recent discoveries and contributions to the field, etc., as well as how the teams complement each other.

Explain how your project addresses the United Nations Sustainable Goals n°4 (Quality of Education) and n°5 (Gender Equality) *

The Transatlantic Research Partnership is looking for projects which not only tackle SDGs in their research, but which also exemplify inclusiveness and equality within their teams.
