The role of SACEM is to provide protection, representation and service for original music composers, authors and publishers SACEM collects authors’ rights and redistributes the payments to the rights-holders SACEM promotes and supports original creative music in every different form. SACEM is a private entity; it is a non-trading company [“société civile”] directed by authors, composers and publishers.
Created in 1993, Le Bureau Export is a non-profit professional organisation with the aim of developing music made in France all around the world. For over 25 years, Le Bureau Export has worked hand-in-hand with French music industry professionals to develop the international careers of their artists, supporting hundreds of Made in France artists every year.
The Institut Français works in partnership with French embassies and cultural centers or institutes around the world to support and organize events such as exhibitions, festivals, symposia, residencies and publications to promote French contemporary creation abroad and exchanges in the arts.
The mission of the French Ministry of Culture is to make accessible to a grander public the essential works of humanity, and above all the works from France. The Ministry develops cultural policies dedicated to the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage in all its aspects, and supports the creation of works of art, as well as the development of artistic practices.
