Applications must be submitted electronically: the e-form will be available on this webpage from December 15, 2021 to January 15 2022.
The deadline for the current session is January 15 2022 for Acquisition of rights and Hemingway Grant. The French Voices award deadline will be announced separately.
There is a single application system for the French Voices Award, Hemingway Grant and Acquisition of Rights programs. But there are some restrictions on the grants and awards that can be combined:
> You can not receive a Hemingway grant AND a French Voices Program for the same book.
> You can not receive a grant from the CNL AND a Hemingway Grant
> You can not receive Burgess Grant (UK) AND a Hemingway Grant
Any other combination is possible. You could for instance receive a French Voices Award + an Acquisition of Rights grant and a CNL grant. Please refer to chart below for more info.
