Supporting transatlantic partnerships around research and higher education.

Established in 2007 as a collaboration between the French government, American private donors and the FACE Foundation, the Partner University Fund is dedicated to amplifying the potential of the brightest French and American scholars by supporting educational and research partnerships between higher education institutions in both countries.

Thanks to the support of the PUF, a remarkable transatlantic collaboration in nanoelectronics between New York University, University of California at San Diego, Université Paris-Sud and Université de Lorraine, culminated with the launch of an International Associated Laboratory (LIA).

Under the auspices of PUF, faculty and students from two world-class institutions dedicated to advancing knowledge of the seas throughout the globe joined forces to tackle issues at the intersection of Physics and Biology.
